Updates from the Practice Team

COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) information

Mar 23 2020

From Monday 23rd March our doors will be locked.

If you have a booked appointment already please call us when you arrive outside the practice and we will unlock the door for you.

If you need an appointment or advice please phone us or send a ManageMyHealth message. We are still operating but we need to speak with you first to assess your needs.  We may see you in person or your doctor may call and assess you over the phone.

You are no longer able to collect your prescription from us.  We will fax it to the pharmacy of your choice. Our new prescription fee (faxing inclusive) is $20

Thank you for you patience and understanding at this time.  Please be assured that your BCH Team are here for you

COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) information

Mar 03 2020

Current situation as of 3 March 2019

To date, New Zealand has had a single case of COVID-19. We’re confident the swift actions by the person and their family, and the health sector, means there is a low risk of any spread into the community from this case. The likelihood of a widespread outbreak remains low-moderate.

People coming into New Zealand should check information for travellers arriving to New Zealand as they may be subject to border controls or asked to self-isolate.

We’re also asking people who have visited countries or areas of concern and who have developed symptoms of fever, cough or shortness of breath to seek medical advice by phoning Healthline’s dedicated COVID-19 number 0800 358 5453

For COVID-19 health advice and information, contact the Healthline team (for free) on 0800 358 5453
